A consortium is applying, consisting of a Project Host company and two development companies. The applicant companies are fully Hungarian-owned enterprises. The Project Host works in the field of tire technology, thus having full technical expertise and a comprehensive business relationship system. The development companies have vast professional experience and have the solid competence bases that ensure the success of the next development stages. The Project creates and implements a comprehensive concept for the disposal and utilization of waste tires generated in Hungary. The essence is the comprehensive and full-spectrum approach, which simultaneously manages collection, processing and the operation of the business chain of product lines. The planned initial implementation concerns the utilization of 1,000 – 3,000 tons / year of waste tires in the first phase of the project. This amount will certainly contribute significantly to reducing environmental impact.
