While it was previously possible to conclude a so-called annual settlement contract with the electricity supplier, currently the only way to avoid losing the electricity that is produced but not consumed is to store it on site.

The calculation below – which does not qualify as an offer – presents the energy modernization package for an average-sized family house heated with a traditional gas boiler. (Important: the recommended heat pump can not only replace gas boiler heating, it is also suitable for providing domestic hot water and summer cooling for the entire house. To take advantage of these functions, a so-called HMV (domestic hot water) tank and fan-coil units must be installed. This expansion can be done at any time afterwards)

By using only the heating function of the heat pump system, the price of the entire amount of gas previously used for heating can be saved! The recommended, modern heat pump has a high “degree of goodness, efficiency”, the COP value is ~ 4, which means that it produces 4 units of heat energy from 1 unit of electrical energy, so it operates with very favorable electricity consumption. If we add to this the “free” electricity generated by solar panels and stored in batteries until the time of actual use, then heating your house becomes extremely economical and significantly more affordable than before.

The amount saved can be increased even further by installing the already mentioned DHW tank, since then you don’t even have to pay for the gas required to produce hot water.

Safe operation
